SUBSTANCE: invention refers to gene engineering, molecular biology and medicine. What is presented is a set of cardiac aging biomarkers involving a number of polynucleotides, which are differentially expressed in cardiac tissues of aged individuals as compared to young ones, wherein the polynucleotides are specified in two or more genes involved in Wnt-signal transmission into the cardiac tissues, wherein the genes represent Dlgh1, Magi3, Akt1, Dab2, Rac1, Ctnnb1, Camk2d, Mapk1, Senp2, Smad3, Mark2, Ccnd1 and Pias4, as well as a respective composition and a method for analysing an agent or a regimen for their ability to delay the cardiac aging.
EFFECT: set of the cardiac aging biomarkers.
