FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: for control of an electronic beam in a vacuum chamber there are located diverting plates, and when the electronic beam is passing by them, it irradiates at certain frequency the different places of the surface of the metal diaphragm specimen, one side of which, which is placed in an electrolytic cell, is saturated by hydrogen diffused to the opposite side of the diaphragm specimen, which is tightly built in the end face of the vacuum chamber and simultaneously irradiated by the diverted beam of electrons from an electron gun.
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
