FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The method for disguising the unpleasant taste of a substance with a bitter taste envisages introduction of a substance with a bitter taste with tocopherol and at least one fat. The weight ratio of the substance with a bitter taste to tocopherol is equal to nearly 5:1 - 1:5. Additionally, one proposes a confectionary composition, a method for disguising a bitter taste in the confectionary composition and usage of tocopherol for modification, disguising and reduction of an unpleasant bitter mouthfeel caused by the substance with a bitter taste.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the bitter taste of a bitter substance in confectionary compositions in case of combination with at least one fat and an efficient quantity of one or more forms of vitamin E compound disguising such taste.
