SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is intended to make precision reflectors from polymer composite materials for spacecraft antennae. The reflector is structurally made in the form of an assembled unit, which consists of a reflecting mirror coating, a rear coating, mesh filler placed between the mirror and rear coatings through an adhesive layer on the surface of an arbour, wherein the method includes preparing the surface of the arbour, opening fibre filler workpieces for applying the coatings along the base of the material, heating and thermally stabilising the surface of the arbour, applying the mirror coating layer by layer on the surface of the heated arbour at given orientation angles in a strictly defined manner, while alternating the layers with each other, applying an adhesive layer, placing the mesh filler according to a given scheme, applying an adhesive layer on the surface of the mesh filler, applying the rear coating layer by layer on the surface of the adhesive layer at given orientation angles in a strictly defined manner, while alternating the layers with each other, in a mirror fashion, relative to the mirror coating, placing a vacuum bag, guiding the arbour with the mounted reflector, cooling the reflector with the arbour, removing the vacuum bag and removing the reflector from the arbour.

EFFECT: improved radio properties and precision of the working surface of the reflector.
