FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to three-phase centrifuge with light and heavy phase discharge nozzles and separates said light phase from the mix including both phases and solid substance. Centrifuge with nozzles, monitoring and control device for maintenance of radial layer position at interface comprises spinning rotor to make inlet for said mix, separation chamber communicated therewith and provided with inner radial part and outer radial part. Nozzles nearby separation chamber are distributed around axis of rotation to discharge of heavy phase and solid substance, There is light phase outlet and bypass outlet radially confined by cover or level ring for discharge of heavy phase. Besides, it includes inlet for feed of extra heavy phase into centrifuge. Note here that flow amount monitoring transducer that doubles as appropriate signal transmitter is arranged in heavy phase path so that feed of extra heavy phase responds to said signal. Note also that said transducer transmits said signal so that said extra feed is controlled in response to signal intended for maintenance of the layer at interface at preset radial level.
EFFECT: improved layer control at interface, lower water and power consumption, decreased erosion.
