FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a zeolite-based catalyst, which includes the following steps: (a) adding aluminium oxide and an acid to pentasil-type zeolite powder, where the zeolite powder has the atomic ratio Si/Al from 50 to 250, and optionally mixing and homogenising said mixture, (b) moulding, drying and calcining the mixture obtained at step (a) to obtain a moulded material, (c) soaking the moulded material at step (b) with a phosphorus compound to obtain a phosphorus-containing product, and (d) calcining the phosphorus-containing product from step (c) at temperature in the range of 150°C to 800°C to obtain a phosphorus-containing catalyst. The invention also relates to a catalyst obtained using the disclosed method, for converting methanol into olefins, as well as to the use of the catalyst.
EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst with higher activity.
