FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: left ventricular cavity is opened by a long incision extending parallel with the anterior interventricular artery through a dyskinetic scar myocardial section. Suspension to the patch is delimitated. The patch is implanted into the left ventricular cavity by continuous blanket or interrupted sutures. That is followed by underruning the patch uniformly with two or three lines of six to twelve polyester plaited U-sutures along its surface with regard to its width. That involves underruning the dyskinetic scar myocardium. The retention U-sutures are brought onto an external surface of the left ventricle and distributed uniformly over the left ventricular aneurysm wall. The retention U-sutures are fastened immediately before the left ventricular wall incision is closed.

EFFECT: method enables preventing thrombus formation under the patch separating the left ventricular aneurysm cavity, preventing postoperative progression of ischemic left ventricle re-modelling.
