SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to means for formation of image of patient's internal and external areas. System contains X-ray device, including mobile C-shaped bracket, wavelength-sensible camera for provision of image of patient's external area, installed on X-ray device with specified spatial ratio between camera and X-ray device, with camera being mounted on C-shaped bracket aside from X-ray detector, data processor for conversion of camera image and X-ray image into composite image based on space reference point to install spatial correlation of X-ray image and camera image, and space reference point, detectable in X-ray image and in camera image. Method of image formation is provided by operation of image formation system.

EFFECT: application of inventions makes it possible to increase efficiency of medical worker performance in carrying out image-guided medical intervention.
