SUBSTANCE: claimed functional assembly (10) has first layer to define the first contact surface which gets in friction contact with the second contact surface defined by second layer. First and second layers, each, include carbon containing at least 50% of carbon atoms. Note here that orientation of crystal planes of layers on said first and second surfaces differ.
