FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: patient is examined for diabetes mellitus (DM); patient's left ventricular ejection fraction (LV EF), blood serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) concentration and genotype for TAS2R50 gene polymorphism rs1376251 are determined. The above parameters are inserted into original formula to derive a prognosis (P(X)). If p(X) is 0.4 or more, the onset of any unfavourable outcome or a combination thereof is predicted in the patient. The absence of any unfavourable outcome throughout the whole prediction period is shown by p(X) less than 0.4.
EFFECT: method enables the high-accuracy prediction of the remote outcomes in the patients suffered acute coronary syndrome by taking into account a range of risk factors in order of their effect on the probability of the unfavourable outcome.
