FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: device for shock-wave treatment of fibrous materials comprises a shock-wave generator of electric pulse discharges in the liquid, a carrier frame, a device for transporting the fibrous material, a control unit, a housing of a shock-wave chamber with a cover and at least one underwater discharge electrode attached with the ability of reciprocative transportation relative to the cover surface, and the air modules at the upper and lower sides of the shock-wave chamber, inside which along the periphery an elastic membrane is located.
EFFECT: use of invention based on the totality of the electrical-physical and mechanical methods of action enables to obtain modified fibrous materials of high degree of garneting at the optimal level of performance, reliability and energy consumption of processing.
