SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to radiation detector and respective method for radiation detection. The radiation detector (100-400) comprises a converting element (110) for conversion of incident radiation (X) to electric signals; periodic or quasi-periodic array of anodes (130-430) placed at the first side of the converting element (110); at least two guide electrodes (140-440), which adjoin two different anodes; control unit (150), which is connected to at least two above guide electrodes (140-440) and adapted to supply different electric potentials to at least two above guide electrodes (140-440), at that the above potentials are function of no-load voltage values, which occur between the guide electrode (140-440) and the respective anode when voltage is supplied between the respective anodes (130-430) and cathode (120).
EFFECT: improved accuracy of radiation detecting.
