FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of amplification and demodulation of frequency-modulated signals is offered. The method is based on use of energy of DC power supply, interaction of frequency-modulated signal with the device which comprises the feed-forward path in the form of a triple-pole nonlinear element, the four-pole network, the external feedback circuit, the low pass filter, the separating capacitance and the low-frequency load. The method is also based on fulfilment of conditions of matching of the feed-forward path with the external feedback circuit, conditions of matching of the external feedback circuit with the control electrode of the triple-pole nonlinear element, conditions of matching of the feed-forward path and the external feedback circuit with another part of the device with the pre-set tolerance.

EFFECT: amplification and frequency demodulation of high-frequency signal by means of the device with widened dynamic range and a quasi-linear section of the frequency demodulation curve due to presence of the resistive four-pole network.
