FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: there are described cardioplegia agents in the form of water solutions for injections. The solution according to the first version contains, wt %: 25% magnesium sulphate - 32, 4% potassium chloride - 40 and 0.9% sodium chloride - 28 The solution according to the second version contains, wt %: magnesium sulphate - 8.0, potassium chloride - 1.6, sodium chloride - 0.252 and water for injections up to 100.
EFFECT: uniform tissue distribution of the above agent, ensured cardioplegia over 4 seconds, manifested stable action for 40 minutes when administering the preparation in a small amount; the agent does not require cooling and additional administration when in use; it is easy to prepare and use.
