FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: process cartridge comprises a photosensitive drum and a developing roller (which handles the photosensitive drum), in particular to the process cartridge, the photosensitive drum and the developing roller of which can be placed in contact or separated from each other, as well as to the image forming device in which this cartridge is placed. The claimed group of inventions comprises image forming devices which comprise the process cartridges. At that the process cartridge mountable removably in the main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming device comprises an electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a developing shaft for development of an electrostatic side image formed on the said electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a drum housing supporting the electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a developing housing supporting the developing shaft, where the shaft which moves relative to the drum housing between the contact position, in which the developing shaft is placed in contact with the electrophotographic photosensitive drum, and the separated position, in which the developing shaft is placed at a distance from the electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a force receiving element provided movable relative to the developing housing for receiving an external force. The force receiving element can take the operating position to move the developing housing from the contact position to the retracted position, receiving the external force, and the waiting position retracted from the operating position; the forcing part for forcing the force receiving element to move from the waiting position to the operating position; and an interacting part for interacting with the force receiving element to retain the force receiving element in the waiting position relative to the forcing effort of the forcing part.
EFFECT: providing the process cartridge, the photosensitive drum and the developing roller, which can be placed in contact or separated from each other, and which are substantially smaller in size, at that the process cartridge is detachably mountable, providing the process cartridge, which part of force receiving may be damaged in much less extent than when one processing cartridge is moved.
