FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: claimed projectile has the head and body with driving and extra circular bands. Extra circular band OD equals the driving band diameter. Extra circular band is made of porous material, pores being filled with the grease. Said extra circular band is located nearby the projectile head. Extra circular band and driving band cross-sections are shaped to orthogonal trapezoid. Extra band inclined part with the angle at bottom base not exceeding 45 degrees faces the head while vertical part contacts directly with the vertical end of the driving circular band.
EFFECT: lower friction between projectile and barrel.
