FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to veterinary microbiology, and to a method of reducing seropositivity of live brucellosis vaccines from Brucella abortus 19 or Brucella melitensis Rev-1 strains for farm animals. The described method includes administering to an animal a vaccine from a B. abortus 19 strain in a dose of 100 million microbe cells to 40 thousand microbe cells or a vaccine from a B. melitensis Rev-1 strain in a dose of 1 million microbe cells to 10 thousand microbe cells while simultaneously administering a brucella antibody in a dose of 0.02 to 0.1 mg.

EFFECT: invention reduces the duration of seropositivity in vaccinated animals, up to non-diagnosis, without reducing immunity level and can be used to differentiate infected and vaccinated animals using diagnostic preparations during rehabilitation of farms from brucella infection.
