FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment. A support comprises a movable portion, which accommodates a surface, on which an individual is placed and which is configured to move within a coverage of a visualisation system, wherein the individual is supposed to be scanned; and a scanning position identifier, which form a signal indicating at least one of a initial scanning position and a final scanning position for a preset individual's area of interest on the basis of the arrangement of the area of interest on a movable portion of an individual's support for a random relative position of the movable portion in relation to the coverage. The scanning position identifier comprises a feed line with a capacitive strip. What is disclosed is a method for developing a scanning plan with using the individual's support.
EFFECT: inventions provide more accurate matching of the scanned volume and the volume required to scan a tissue of interest, as well as reduces a radiation amount for the patient.
