FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: packing, for example, for pizzas contains the tray with the lower wall and the vertical sidewall ended at the flange passing around external surface of the sidewall. The walls form internal space, the lower wall has the raised ledges, and the sidewall has the ribs protruding from it. The foodstuff placed inside the tray and supported by some amount of the raised ledges has the flat lower surface, the side surface and the top surface with movable top layers. The first flexible layer of film tightly encloses foodstuff on the tray, restricts movement of layers, contacts with the top surface and the section of the side surface of the product and forms detachable seam with the tray flange. The second flexible layer of the film is located above the tray and the first flexible layer of the film, and attached to the first layer of the film by the seam of the same length with detachable seam between the first layer of the film and the flange and located at a distance from the first flexible layer in the flange. Between layers of the film a gas layer is located.

EFFECT: ledges of the lower wall, ribs of the sidewall and gas absorb shock of the corresponding surfaces of foodstuff in efficient way and ensure safety of the product.
