FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: determining the prescription of the intrauterine death of a dead born child requires performing T1- and T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging of the body. The sagittal scans formed in each mode are analysed to determine an optical density of the kidney tissue - kidney T1 and kidney T2 respectively, an optical density of the pleural fluid - fluid T1 and fluid T2, and an optical density of environment air nearby the anterior abdominal wall - air T1 and air T2. The prescription of the intrauterine death t is calculated in hours by formula: t=16.87+95.38×M2-75.32×M, wherein M=(kidney T2/kidney T1)×(fluid T1/fluid T2)×(air T1/air T2).
EFFECT: method ensures determining the prescription of the intrauterine death of a dead born child accurately and quickly ranging inside of a week, and the non-invasiveness.
