FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to radiation diagnostics, obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used for optimizing indications for intrauterine intravascular hemotransfusions of fetus in haemolytic disease. For this purpose, values of peak systolic blood flow velocity in the middle cerebral artery of fetus (Vps MCA) are determined, total number of areas of ischemic damages of fetus (NA), total volume of ischemic injuries (TV), number of ischemic injures in parietal lobe (NP), total volume of ischemic injuries in parietal lobe (VP) and calculating integral index R by original calculation formula. If R≥0.5, a pronounced CNS damage of an intrauterine fetus is stated, requiring intrauterine intravascular hemotransfusions. If R<0.5, the fetus is not damaged, blood transfusions are not required, and dynamic observation and examination are indicated.
EFFECT: method enables prevention of severe hypoxic-ischemic CNS lesions of newborns and optimization of pregnancy management by stating the degree of anemia in a fetus with ischemic cerebral injuries.
