BIOCOMPATIBLE WIRE ACCUMULATOR BATTERY Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC H01M2/02

Abstract RU 2572240 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates structures of biocompatible wire accumulator batteries. Rechargeable electrochemical accumulator battery shaped as a knot of single-turn or multiturn wire may be used as a source of energy for any quantity of implanted or non-implanted medical devices. As far as wire accumulator battery allows scaling up to microdimensions, it may be used for supply of medical devices, which are not active device traditionally but may be improved using active components. The wire accumulator battery may be reduced up to size required for specific application thus allowing maintenance of the same no-load voltage notwithstanding final configuration and length of the used wire. Though accumulator battery is shaped as wire, there are different methods for layout of components in the accumulator battery.

EFFECT: longer service life and higher reliability.
