FIELD: electrical engineering; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and biomedicine and can be used in the manufacture of energisation elements that can effectively maintain the chemical composition of the battery, wherein the design of the energisation element allows the internal control of the number of energisation elements. Topology and relatively small size of the energisation elements allow their use in various biocompatible devices. Methods and apparatus for forming biocompatible energisation elements are proposed, which include forming cavities comprising active cathode chemistry and placing separators within a laminate structure of the battery. Active elements of the cathode and anode are sealed with a laminate stack of biocompatible material.
EFFECT: improved safety, reliability and compactness of the biocompatible energisation element.
