FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: eyelid closure line is fixed and marked in a frontal skull image in a position of Frankfurt plane. The lines retracing an arc of their mid-portion and meeting a general direction of the four orbital walls until completely closed are drawn along a mid-portion of the orbital walls. The arched lines form a quadrangle. Two diagonals are drawn from the intersection points of the quadrangle; together with the eyelid closure line, the diagonals form a triangle, a centre of which is an iris centre.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to localise an iris vertical decentration from an eye shape line depending on an individual eye-pit shape.
