SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system, device and method of preparing the beverage using the capsule. The device comprises a capsule-holder, a fluid feeding device, and a flow regulator made to regulate a parameter of the fluid to be fed into the capsule. The flow regulator is made with the ability of selective operation in one mode of at least a first mode and a second mode. The flow regulator comprises a switching element adapted to move between a first position and a second position and made for its engagement by the capsule operating element.
EFFECT: easier control of selection of the desired fluid volume is provided, excluding the ability of choosing the volume that does not meet the encapsulated beverage ingredient.
