FIELD: bioengineering.
SUBSTANCE: method means interaction of tetrakis(methoxymethyl)diaminocyclohexanes, such as (tetrakis(methoxymethyl)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, or tetrakis(methoxymethyl)-1,4-diaminocyclohexane, or tetrakis(methoxymethyl)-1,3-diaminodimethylcyclohexane) with 1,2-ethane dithiol in presence of the catalyst SmCl3·6H2O at mol ratio tetrakis(methoxymethyl)diaminocyclohexane: 1,2-ethane dithiol: SmCl3·6H2O = 1:2:(0.03-0.07) in environment of solvents of methanol-chloroforms at room (~20°C) temperature for 2.5-3.5 h. Yield value of bis-(1,5,3-dithiazepan-3-il)cyclohexanes (1) is 67-82%.
EFFECT: compounds can be used as antimicrobial, antifungal and antiphlogistic agents.
