FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing N,N-bis-[(1,5,3-dithiazepan-3-yl)alkyl]amines, which can be used as fungicides and selective complexing agents. Method summary involves reaction of diamine, selected from [N-(2-aminoethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine, or N,N'-bis(2-aminoethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine, or N-(3-aminopropyl)butane-1,4-diamine], with 1-oxa-3,6-ditiacycloheptane in presence of SmCl3·6H2O catalyst in molar ratio of diamine: 1-oxa-3,6-ditiacycloheptane: SmCl3·6H2O=1:2:(0.03-0.07) at temperature of about 20 °C and atmospheric pressure for 2.5-3.5 hours.
EFFECT: output of N,N-bis-[(1,5,3-dithiazepan-3-yl)alkyl]amines (1) is 50-65 %.
