FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for obtaining of 3-cycloalkyl-1,5,8-trityl-3-azacyclodecanes of general formula (1):

where R = cyclo-C3H5, cyclo-C5H9, cyclo-C6H11, cyclo-C5H9O, cyclo-C7H13, cyclo-C8H15, in which cycloalkylamine (cyclopropylamine, or cyclopentylamine, or cyclohexylamine, or tetrahydropyranylamine or cycloheptylamine, or cyclooctyl-amine) is reacted with 1-oxa-3,6,9-trityiocyclodecane in the presence of a catalyst SmCl3⋅6H2O at a molar ratio of cycloalkylamine : 1-oxa-3,6,9-trityiocyclodecane : SmCl3⋅6H2O = 1:1:(0.03–0.07) at room temperature (~20 °C) in ethanol-chloroform solvent (1:1, volume ratio) for 2.5–3.5 h.
EFFECT: method for the obtaining of 3-cycloalkyl-1,5,8-trityl-3-azacyclodecanes of the general formula (1) in high yield is proposed.
