SUBSTANCE: casting wheel, which is enclosed by the endless tape 7 of the rotary casting machine, contains the feeler gauge that together with the tape 7 forms the casting trough 8. The feeler gauge bottom is made with the cavity in the form of the isoscales triangle 17. The angle at the triangle vertex and the angles formed by the triangle sides and the sides of the trapezoid are equal and equal to 123-130°.
EFFECT: improvement of the heat transfer from the cooled metal to the casting wheel by reducing the heat insulation gas layer.
