FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and is applicable for making dental implant templates. A method for making a surgical dental implant template involves recording a three-dimensional digital image of the oral cavity, recording a three-dimensional digital image of a prototype template and X-ray contrast marker topologically related to the prototype template, recording a digital computer X-ray tomogram of the oral cavity with the inserted prototype template, identifying the marker images of the computer X-ray tomogram, as well as georeferencing the topology of oral bone tissues to that of the prototype template by spatial adjustment of the marker images on the prototype template and digital computer X-ray tomogram of the oral cavity. Virtual markers based on a virtual model of the prototype template comprising virtual markers are integrated into the virtual model of the prototype template; a physical model of the prototype template including the markers is made by rapid prototyping with using the materials with different X-ray contrast ratios for making the prototype template and markers; the physical model of the prototype template is used to record the digital computer X-ray tomogram of the oral cavity.

EFFECT: invention enables providing more accurate mutual referencing of the topologies of the bone tissue, oral cavity and prototype template.
