FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: method of tracking an eye spot with low power consumption in an electrooptical apparatus, using an image sensor with active pixel sensors, includes using a processor to determine whether image sensor pixels are exposed to light with exceedance of a configured threshold value; reporting said compared image sensor pixels using an image sensor circuit; connecting a MOS transistor with threshold voltage Vth, which is connected only if the corresponding pixel is exposed to light with exceedance of the threshold value; and using a circuit with latches or registers to store connection/disconnection result or pixel state.
EFFECT: providing low power consumption.
