SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for generation and reproduction of moving image data. It is proposed to configure frames of the moving image in the form of a hierarchical structure, where each frame is presented with multiple resolution levels, at the same time the resolution becomes higher sequentially of the zero layer 30, first layer 32, second layer 34, third layer 36, the zero layer 30 and the second layer 34 are set as the layer of the initial image, and the first layer 32 and the third layer 36 are set as the layer of a differential image in hierarchical data presenting the frame at the moment of time t1. In the case when the area 124a, which must be reproduced with resolution of the third layer 36, to the values of appropriate pixels of the differential image of the area 124a, stored by the third layer 36, they add values of appropriate pixels of the image of the appropriate area 126a, stored by the second layer 34, to produce an image increased to resolution of the third layer 36. A unit of compressed data generation compresses and codes hierarchical data of the moving image and records compressed and coded hierarchical data of the moving image in the memory.
EFFECT: provision of image processing, making it possible to reproduce moving images of high accuracy on the screen with high efficiency of changes whenever a user inputs an operation of image area reproduction, limiting the volume of processed data.
