FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, particularly to orthopaedics, specifically to methods of treating locomotor deformations and implants, providing for fixation of anterior bone feet. Implant is made of titanium nickelide alloy in form of a rod with pointed ends. Implant has a first part with a cylindrical shape and a second part with a rectangular shape. First part is made with two longitudinal cuts that form four triangular legs, ends of which have possibility of radial displacement by 0.5-2 mm. Second part is made with a longitudinal slot of ½ to 2/3 of length of second part, exceeding length of first part. Longitudinal slot is made to form clavate expansion. Method includes skin incision and osteotomy of deformed metatarsal bone. Rectangular part of implant in a position outside clavate expansion is placed into intramedullary canal of proximal bone fragment of metatarsal bone, so that it located approximately 1.0 cm from bone implant. Implant legs, superior of metatarsal bone, is cooled until they occupy a folded position. On standing part of implant head is put metatarsal bone with previously prepared blind holes, dimensions of which comply with those legs of implant. Clamp is used to press head of metatarsal osteotomy line to proximal bone fragment, and then due to heating of surrounding tissue implant legs move apart and wedged in medullary canal of head of metatarsal bone. Method includes open reduction of finger, completing operation.
EFFECT: method and apparatus provide stable fixation of bone fragments, constant compression in osteotomy, which enables to restore movement in metatarsophalangeal joints and support ability of anterior stop.
