FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing biogeneous hydrogen sulphide. The method includes adding to a culture medium microorganisms and sulphur as an electron acceptor.As the microorganisms anaerobic sulphur-reducing bacteria Desulfurella acetivorans, Desulfurella kamchatkensis, Desulfurella auxotro are used, and as the electron donor acetic acid is used. Acetic acid is fed into a bioreactor upon achieving a low pH>5.0, where reagents are fed into the bioreactor in one day in the following amount: sulphur - 2.5 g/l, electron donor - acetic acid - 0.23 g/l. The method is carried out at a temperature ranging from 50 to 55°C and at pH=4.0-7.0, and the hydraulic liquid medium retention time is 30 days, after which 20% of the culture medium is refreshed. Hydrogen sulphide is distilled from the bioreactor upon achieving the maximum redox potential of (-350)-(-380) mV to a critical value (-250 mV) or continuously by circulating recycle gas at a rate of 3 m3/1 m3 pulp while feeding fresh nitrogen at a rate of 0.003 m3/h.
