SUBSTANCE: system (10) comprises: an imaging device (16); a processing device (24) comprising a tracking unit (24a), a referencing unit (24b), a determining unit (24c), a reconstruction unit (24d) and a generating unit (24e). The imaging device (16) obtains a plurality of first images with a first criterion and a secondary image with a second criterion. The tracking unit (24a) tracks predetermined first and second features in the first images and in the secondary image. The determining unit (24c) determines conversion of the first feature, vector distortion fields of the second feature relative to the first feature. The referencing unit (24b) references and records the vector distortion fields of the second feature corresponding to phase attributes. The reconstruction unit (24d) reconstructs the current physical distortion. The generating unit (24e) generates a merged inter-criteria image based on the reconstructed physical distortion.
