FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to restore worn parts by submerged arc surfacing and to obtain a wear-resistant protective coating on parts of metallurgical equipment operating under compression and abrasive wear at temperatures of 600°C. The flux cored wire consists of a steel sheath and a powdered charge containing components in the following ratio, wt.%: steel shell 67.0-68.0, ferrotungsten 8.0-11.05, ferromanganese 0.66-1.40, ferrosilicon 0.40-1.45, ferrochrome 2.20-4.1, ferrovanadium 0.2-0.5, nickel 0.01-0.5, molybdenum 0.01-0.8, carbon-fluorine-containing dust of aluminum electrostatic precipitators 0.80-2.30, iron powder - the rest.
EFFECT: increasing the wear resistance and hardness of the deposited metal, increasing the stability of arc burning, improving the formation of the deposited metal and excluding pore formation, as well as preventing the formation of cold cracks in the process of multilayer surfacing.
