FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to devices for preparation of feedstuffs. Feed-stuff production unit comprises body in the form of pillars on the base plate, cylindrical working chamber with end caps, which are located in the driving and driven elements equipped with grinding teeth. Driven element is made in the form of a hollow cylinder with openings, is installed on bearings in housing and is equipped with inner gearing teeth formed by lateral surfaces of adjacent openings. Driving element is made in the form of pinion shaft or pinion installed on shaft with external teeth, and offset relative to the driven element is installed in two bearings located on support plate. On external surface of the driven element there is cylindrical matrix with holes for product discharge, consisting of two half-rings or segments, covering the outer surface of the driven element and forming a working chamber together with a hollow cylinder of the driven element. Half-rings or segments are tied to each other and are attached to the driven element. Holes in cylindrical matrix lie opposite openings in the driven element. Space between posts of the housing is closed by cover to accommodate cylindrical matrix. Feed-stuff production unit of modular type is made from a base module, operating under the grinding mode with the possibility of using it as pelletizer or extruder. Feed-stuff production unit equipped with a set of interchangeable dies for grinding, pelleting and extrusion mechanism to install and secure the matrix to the outer surface of driven member with the possibility of quick replacement, and is equipped with additional equipment and control system providing grinding, extruding or pelletizing operating modes.

EFFECT: higher reliability of feed-stuff production unit.
