FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to dentistry, and is intended for modelling and making dental prosthesis for a patient. A method for modelling and manufacture of dental prosthesis comprising a gingival portion and artificial teeth, comprising steps of: obtaining three-dimensional scanning data representing at least a portion of a patient's mouth; virtual modelling at least part of dental prosthesis by using three-dimensional scanning data; creation of virtual teeth, representing artificial teeth; virtual modelling at least one of virtual teeth to produce a series of simulated virtual teeth; manufacturing modelled virtual teeth of a first material; manufacturing gingival portion of a second material; manufacturing at least part of a dental prosthesis by means of an automated production; and scan try-on denture after checking its configuration in mouth of patient and possible adjustments as well as automatic recognition of change of received scanning data of try-on after adjusting and modifying design of denture based on said data.

EFFECT: invention enables to model denture virtually, which ensures high quality and reduces cost and time of manufacturing.
