SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in motor car production and aircraft engineering. Claimed material produced at making of the perform of carbon fibres. Made reform is compacted by matrix of pyrolytic carbon produced from the precursor in gaseous state in at least the matrix main external phase. Final heat treatment is executed at 1400-1800°C without causing the matrix graphitisation from pyrolytic carbon.
EFFECT: reduced wear along with the better braking characteristics and oxidation stability.
