FIELD: electronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled assembly intended for use in electronic devices with autoelectronic emission, and one of such devices, i.e. to - x-ray tube. Unit includes cathode 1 with autoelectronic emitting part 2 and control electrode 20, having a flat part with a hole 3 arranged opposite to emitting part 2 of cathode 1. This unit features a fact that in the control electrode 20 around the hole 3 in a flat portion of this electrode there is made circular ledge 4 with smooth curves and smooth conjugation with the above flat part and is oriented towards the side opposite to the cathode electrode 1. X-ray tube has a controlled emitting unit and anode placed in a vacuum case with radiotransparent output window. Tube design features the abovementioned controlled emitting unit.

EFFECT: reduced intensity of ion bombardment over emitting part of the cathode electrode capable to cause its destruction.
