SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in chemical industry. Method for obtaining aluminium oxide in Bayer process includes addition of one or more polysaccharides, one of which represents scleroglucan, into solution of flow of fluid medium of said process at the stage of aluminium oxide trihydrate precipitation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve precipitation of small crystals of aluminium oxide trihydrate in flocculation process, increase product output.
