SUBSTANCE: invention is rounding device for rounding of food dough, provided with transporting device, which transports food dough and pair of forming plates on upper surface of conveying device are arranged so that pass along direction (R) transfer conveyor. Forming plates have, at least, opposite inclined surfaces. Inclined surfaces are inclined outward from lower side to upper side so that gap between inclined surfaces is narrow and wide bottom side on upper side. Rounding device rounds food dough using inclined surfaces form pair of plates. Steam forming plates has longitudinal components, which move longitudinally relative to each other in opposite directions, and steam forming plates has lateral elements, which move relative to each other in width direction, perpendicular to longitudinal direction so that approach and detached from each other. Steam forming plates can move along path, wherein distance of movement in accordance with longitudinal composite elements is greater than distance of movement in accordance with lateral component.

EFFECT: invention ensures uniform formation of inner layers, formation of solid shell and uniform formation forms separated dough pieces.
