FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial extraction, concentration and processing of minerals and may be used in processes of drying, fractionation and packing powdered graphite concentrate. Under one version graphite dust prismatic settling chamber comprises vertical front, rear and side walls, roof covering, bottom dust output window into hopper, inner cavity equipped with vertical settling plates located on front wall and adjacent to ceiling window and connected to it inlet of graphite dust in flow of combustion products, which are arranged on rear wall and adjacent to ceiling window and connected to it purified combustion products discharge branch pipe equipped with fabric filter with system of intermittent blowdown. Inner cavity of chamber is divided by vertical plane parallel to front and rear walls, on front and rear compartments respectively with own side walls, ceiling coverings and bottom openings of dust discharge into bin. Window for input of graphite dust and vertical precipitation plates are arranged in front compartment. Along vertical plane dividing chamber into compartments between side walls with abutment to ceiling there is vertical partition forming together with rear wall and side walls of rear compartment vertical corridor having inlet bottom window. Between side walls in bottom dust discharge openings in bin and inlet into vertical corridor of rear compartment there are additional v-shaped horizontal precipitation elements. Height and width of vertical corridor are limited H = (0.2-0.5)Hk and B = (0.4-0.6)Bk, where Hk, Bk are chamber height and width, m. In prismatic settling chamber, made in second version, output window of purified combustion products and connected to it and equipped with fabric filter with system of intermittent blowdown purified combustion products discharge branch pipe are arranged on top floor with abutment to rear wall.

EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of trapping particles of graphite.
