FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and power engineering and can be used for determining damaged point in three-phase power transmission line (PTL) high and superhigh voltage. On each end of line is measured currents and voltages are measured currents and voltages of alarm signal and calculating inside sliding time window and comparing with threshold value exceeding of threshold is recorded by means of satellite navigation system and distance to point of damage on difference in time exceeding of threshold is fixed at ends of line. Inside sliding window is implemented matched filtering of alarm signal and matched filtering results are compared with threshold value. Characteristic of a matched filter is selected based on results of preliminary simulation of damage on power transmission line.
EFFECT: technical result is high sensitivity and accuracy of determining damaged point of power transmission lines due to more accurate selection of wave front of transient process of aggregate and emergency components under normal distribution law.
