METHOD FOR LOCALISING DAMAGED POINT OF POWER TRANSMISSION LINES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01R31/00

Abstract RU 2552388 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering, in particular to system automation and relay protection, and is intended for implementation in devices used for damaged point localisation in the branched power transmission line. The essence of the invention: the power line transmission damage point localisation method involves storage of information on parameters of power transmission lines and electric mains in the form of models, obtaining of operational information on parameters of emergency mode and number of the mains mode, transfer of operational information on parameters of emergency mode and number of mains mode for calculations, calculation of distance to the damage and the required bypass zone of power transmission lines on the basis of parameters of emergency mode, number of mains mode and models, the stored as models information on parameters of the high voltage line and the power supply network is periodically corrected on the basis of results of active sounding of the power transmission line. Meanwhile for each section of the power transmission line the own calculation of the distance to the damage place is formed which is the weighed sum of estimates of distance to a damage determined by set of known methods of the power transmission line damage localisation by parameters of emergency mode, meanwhile the most exact set of methods of damage localisation and the sequence of their application are prepared on the basis of distance assessment errors for various methods, and weights for summation are obtained by results of modelling of the power transmission line and the power supply network.

EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of determination of distance to the place of damage of the high voltage line.
