FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to switching device and method of controlling transmission and reception frames. Terminal units of wireless line transmit and receive frames via wireless line. Wireless lines are processed as one virtual line. Radio monitoring unit monitors state of wireless lines and according to mode of redundancy provides wireless line terminal blocks command for duplicate frames exchange with other wireless line terminal unit and dropping received frames. Control unit sets up communication channel, in accordance with result of monitoring relative to state of wireless radio monitoring unit lines, each of terminal blocks line as active or standby system. Switching core transmits frames to be transferred to line terminal unit, which operates as active system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in effective switching of wireless ports, providing load distribution.
