FIELD: optics; instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acousto-optical tunable filter. Filter includes polariser, acousto-optical cell, analyser, beam splitter, photodetector, feedback electric circuit and radio-frequency generator. Acousto-optical cell provides collinear mode of diffraction with scattering radiation simultaneously in several diffraction orders. At analyser outlet interference of +1, -1 and 0 diffraction maxima is carried out. Feedback circuit links photodetector and piezoelectric transducer of cell. Radio-frequency generator is designed to control amplitude and frequency of generation signal and control position and width of filter passband.

EFFECT: reduced passband and possibility to control width and position of the passband.
