METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING FLOW CYTOMETRY Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N15/14

Abstract RU 2586406 C2

FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates, generally, to methods and systems for determining an analyte and, in particular, for determining an analyte in a sample, current through a closed flow cell using, in some cases, controlled power source for action at least part of analyte in a closed flow cell after detection. Apparatus for determining an analyte in a sample has a light source for generation of electromagnetic energy for lighting of sample in area of research, concave collecting element having an optical axis and focus. Examination area coincides with focal point of concave collecting element, a closed flow cell having a fluid flow defined between an opening for sample inlet and an opening for outlet of sample. Wherein fluid flow passes through examination area and a sorting portion which is located downward in direction of examination area. Portion of fluid flow path passing through examination area is coaxial with optical axis of concave collecting element. Apparatus further comprises a sample comprising an analyte or an analyte suspected of containing an analyte and flowing in fluid flow path, wherein said analyte generates a detectable signal in response to light. Apparatus also includes a detector for detecting said detectable signal.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in accuracy and efficiency in determination of an analyte in a sample.
