SUBSTANCE: invention relates to identification and elimination of faults in vehicles. System for providing diagnostic information on faults comprises receiving unit and fault code processing and distribution of diagnostic information. Each code is associated with unique identifier. System includes database with group of information elements, each of which relates to specific fault code. Dynamically processing unit generates diagnostic information on failure based on received code fault and element information relating to it, from data base. If vehicle is taken more than one code, processing unit generates information on faults on basis of element information relating to current fault code and information related to other element of said received fault codes.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of providing information.
