FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measurement of moisture volume fraction (MVF) in gases. Hygrometer is intended for measurement of volume fraction of moisture, using the coulometric cell. During determination of volume fraction of moisture in gas with impurities interacting with a phosphorus anhydride, before coulometric cell there is a pneumatic tank is installed with inlet and outlet connection pipe in the lower part of the tank and a nozzle, located in upper part of the tank to feed gas into the coulometric cell.

EFFECT: technical result provides possibility to increase service life of the hygrometer.
